The digital revolution presents complex challenges for Christian education, particularly through digital Machiavellianism, where strategic manipulation exploits psychological vulnerabilities via algorithms. Using a critical-theological hermeneutical approach, this study examines the tension between digital manipulation and the formation of authentic missionary faith. The study introduces discernment literacy as a learning framework for navigating the digital space without losing spiritual integrity. By combining ideas from theology, education, and digital criticism, this study suggests a new way of teaching about faith that goes beyond just adjusting to technology. Christian education is called to transform the digital space into a locus theo-logicus, an authentic theological encounter space where faith engages in critical dialogue with modernity. Effective faith formation requires transformative practices centered on Missio Dei, enabling believers to resist digital manipulation while fostering authentic spiritual community. Christian education functions as both prophetic criticism and constructive engagement with digital culture, maintaining theological integrity while responding to contemporary challenges in a reflective and relevant manner.
