Abstract
Social change, digitalization, and generational shifts are reshaping the landscape of Christian leadership. The fundamental challenge is not a lack of technique but a paradigm crisis: whether ecclesial authority can function amid networked identities and growing demands for participation. Drawing on an integrative conceptual review of distributed and complexity leadership theories, digital religion studies, intergenerational faith formation, missional theology, and social Pentecostalism, this article identifies four critical gaps: the inability to convert structural authority into stewardship of influence; failure to distinguish multigenerational presence from intergenerational agency; the absence of critical discernment regarding technology as an authority-shaping ecology; and the disconnect between spiritual formation and public witness. The article proposes the Networked Missional Leadership model comprising four interlocking dimensions: stewardship of influence, intergenerational agency, digital discernment, and public missional praxis. Its primary contribution is to configure these four dimensions as a theological argument that positions mission, not organizational survival, as the horizon of Christian leadership.
